What She Said

Leah's recently started to point out every stop sign she sees. We have talked about its shape and color, and today, its letters. 

"L-E-A-H spells 'stop sign'!" she exclaims. 

She has also previously declared that "L-E-A-H spells 'me'," so we should probably work on that.

Leah- "I fart out my mouth."

Me- "So, you burped?"

Leah- "Yeah, I burp out my mouth... Scuse me!"

Negotiator

It's not like Leah hasn't negotiated before, but today she took it to a whole new level.

"Leah, it's bath time."

"No Mommy, tomorrow."

Like, she's used "today" before, and maybe other concepts after I said it, but tonight she totally understood the completely abstract concept of another day. I mean, I was pretty proud since I see that skill on assessments all the time 😉 It's so cool how much more she understands every single day. She is constantly amazing me!

By the way, she got a bath tonight!

This morning, when Brian was tickling Leah: "Don't tickle me. Just love me."

Because in this house we are ASU. We are KU.

"Wildcats" is a bad word.
