What She Said

Leah has recently begun saying "holy moly!" and more recently, "oh. my. gosh!" It's pretty entertaining and has definitely taught us to watch what we say.

This weekend, she started saying, "holy majoly!" Then, out of no where, "holy gosh!"

As in, "holy gosh that's a lot of snow!"

Lucky

So lucky- again- for more hand-me-downs. My current unsolicited advice to moms: never say no to anyone who offers them!!

Sasa and Mark

Sasa/Sarwa/Sara and Uncle Mark came to visit! Best. Weekend. Ever.

In no particular order, our weekend in pictures:

Happy birthday Sara! Glad we could celebrate with you! Miss you both so incredibly much- come visit again soon (or just move here).

Happy New Year

Now that it's almost February, I present the New Years blogpost that's been in my head for almost a month--

Goodbye 2015, I am not sorry to see you go. Don't get me wrong, it was a good year, but it was long and draining and basically exhausting. 2015 was the year of weddings, bar mitzvahs, graduations, showers, bachelorette parties, work trips, and pretty much becoming BFFs with McCarran. We traveled- A LOT- and some months spent more nights in a bed other than our own. We were SO LUCKY to have been able to celebrate so many exciting moments with our friends and family, and even snuck in a real vacation to celebrate my birthday! Leah had a lot of firsts- she went to Disneyland and Chicago for the first time and we even flew by ourselves for a girls trip when she went to Atlanta for the first time.

Good thing she flew free until October.

Turns out 2016 isn't shaping up to be much different. In the first month and a half, we have/ will have had visitors twice, a family trip, a daddy/ Leah trip, and Brian leaving town three times. In six weeks, people!  I guess it's a lifestyle we can't shake ✈️

"Midnight" Happy 2016!!
