To Pack or Not To Pack
Inspection on the house went well today. There are a handful of things to take care of that we knew about and some things that we didn't. No deal breakers though, at least not from the unofficial report.
PHEW!
Now I feel better about packing- I've thrown together a few boxes since our offer was accepted but was worried about jinxing ourselves. With a positive inspection report the packing is about to get real. Again. And then hopefully not for a very long time.
I'd really rather look at this cute face or play with my new phone(s).

Lucky Number Six
Six offers, lots and lots of weekends, and occasional late week nights later...
We had an offer accepted for a house!!
Just in time too- our current lease is up only 11 days and 1.5 weekend after our anticipated closing date so we are doing everything in our power to close sooner.
1700+ square feet and four bedrooms. Already has nice carpet and paint too!
Pictures to come...

Six Months
Sweet Baby Leah is six months old! Actually, she was six months old about two weeks ago, but she just had her doctor's appointment, so I held off until I had her stats.
In the last month, Leah has hit some big milestones! She went on her first flight (and did amazing), can efficiently roll over from tummy to back, and started on some solid food (baby style).
She talks more and more, but still mostly cooing, and doesn't cry very often. She still sleeps through the night, but sometimes she falls asleep while eating her last meal and wakes up a bit early pretty hungry... we're working on that. She can also hold her own bottle!
Stats: 16 pounds, 12 ounces (59th percentile) and 26.5 inches (70th percentile). Her growth has slowed down, but she's still healthy, big, and strong.
My heart explodes with love for her.

Passover
While the entire week of Passover isn't necessarily the best of weeks (matzah is only good for two, maybe three days, ok?), Passover Seder has always been one of my favorite nights. Last year it was extra special when we told Brian's family I was pregnant during the break for dinner!
This year we decided to stay in Las Vegas for the holiday and we were graciously invited to seder at the Eisenberg/Maddox residence. A mix between the traditional- I think we did more parts of the Seder than I've ever done- and the modern- hand sanitizer to wash hands (brilliant!), a mad-lib story, and green onion whipping during daieynu- it was a spiritual, fun, enjoyable night. We met new friends AND there were THREE different kinds of charoset AND the wine made me smile (Avigail caught me) AND there were chocolate matzah mint chocolate chip ice cream sandwiches for dessert. WINNER!
Thank you, Lauren, Danny, Avigail, Charlie, and Henry for being our Las Vegas family last night; it meant so much to both of us. We could not have asked for a better first seder as a family of three. We are looking forward to many more celebrations with you!

Johnny is Three!
Happy 3rd birthday to my sweet sweet Johnny Boy. I love you more than I ever should and more than I ever thought I would. Is it possible to love you too much? Never! But I'm close. Somehow we both survived each other for three years- cheers to many many more!
Light it up Blue
April is Autism Awareness Month and April 2nd was Autism Awareness Day. Our friends with autism are always on our mind...
Food
Last weekend I started Leah on rice cereal. I wanted to wait until 6 months, but girl was so ready and I figured a few days early wouldn't hurt anyone!
She pretty much loved it.
Squash this weekend wasn't quite the immediate hit that rice was, but she likes it more and more each time we give it to her.

Roly Poly
Leah rolled over! She did it right before her 5 month birthday and then didn't do it again for an entire week until we were in Houston.
She did it at this painfully slow pace for a long while, but now she's a rock star and can almost roll back-to-tummy too!!

Houston
We had the best trip to Houston! Leah did fantastic on the airplane, hung out at the Houston Livestock Show, met lots of family and friends, and even had a weekend alone with Yaya (while I had the best time in Galveston). Here's a recap in pictures:
